About the Fallfest
Each year over Labor Day weekend, over 300,000 visitors flock to the charming Village of Frankfort, IL to enjoy the Frankfort Fall Festival. With over 300 participating artisans (from 30 different states), and unlimited entertainment and food options, the festival continues to thrive and grow. The Festival has received continued recognition as one of the best shows, and has been ranked as the best in the Illinois, and #6 in the United States by Sunshine Magazine.
Historic Downtown Frankfort provides the backdrop for the festival each year. Located approximately 35 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, Frankfort is known as the "Jewel of the South Suburbs". Our over 17,000 residents enjoy award winning schools, recreational facilities and outdoor events. A premier community that embraces new ideas while treasuring the past.
Throughout Fall Festival you won't want to miss the special events sponsored by many of our local civic and community organizations. This includes the Entertainment Tent with dance area, a Food Court offering a wide assortment of refreshments, live stage entertainment and a community parade on Sunday afternoon.
